Please note that your visit is part of a studio application process and we cannot guarantee a studio before your application form is reviewed.
Free technical assistance is available on these facilities and inductions onto equipment can be arranged with our Studio Manager and Technical coordinator.
Studio residents also benefit from discounted access to our short courses, workshops and venue hire—alongside discounts from local businesses.
By becoming a studio resident you will become part of our School's community, where we encourage collective learning, sustainable practices, and peer support.
We hold regular group inductions on all our equipment, monthly community lunches and are open to community-led ideas to encourage a proactive and friendly environment for learning and conversation.
Our pod studios are located on the 1st floor within the studio community. These open-concept studios have natural lighting and you will have fellow creatives as your neighbors.
Pods are 2.4 x 2.4m and come with one plain wall, a shelving wall, and a half wall with a window.
Pod studios are £180 per month.
Our bench spaces are located in the heart of the studios on the 1st floor, with easy access to the FabLab equipment and facilities.
Benches are 195 x 85 cm and each one comes with plug sockets, a heater, and a safe (optional)
Benches are £85 per month.
The accessible studios offer ease of access to those with mobility issues and wheelchairs. They are close to the darkrooms, kiln, cafe, and accessible toilets.
Accessible studios are 2.5 x 2.5m.
Accessible studios are £200 per month.
Our newly built digital desk spaces are located on the 2nd floor in a shared & lockable studio space. With natural lighting and security for your tech, these studios were made for digital creatives in mind.
This space fits 4 desks and has easy access to our School's library, computer suite, project space and kitchen on the same floor.
Digital desks are £120 per month.
Our large studios are located on the first & second floors and offer creatives a more private space to allow free-flowing experimentation without distraction.
The large studios are 6.1 x 3.5m.
Large studios are £300 per month.
